March 10 and 11th was the time for our last concert of the year, the Spring Concert. This time the theme was the Golden Age of the Song, so the music was from the 20', 30', and 40' centuries. I was participating in the Concert Choir and in Glitter Girls. I don't have pictures from the actual performances because no one was able to takes pictures with my camera. But if I'll get any, I will post them of course.
Show Choir started the concert, which was followed by the Chamber Singers. Then Concert Choir sang two songs, Set Me As A Seal, and Homeland. Homeland was one of my personal favorites, I liked all of the voice parts, and I think the choir did good job singing it. Then was time for the Show Choir to hit the stage again, and at the same time the rest of the choir changed outfits for the 1930's songs. After the intermission Glitter Girls started the second part of the show. We did the songs Roots Before Branches, and Stars Shall I Find. After Show Choir and couple of solos, the rest of the choir went on again with Show Choir for the Crazy for You Medley. The it was time for the last two songs, Glory of Love, and Wind Beneath My Wings. The last song was especially for seniors, in the some parts of the songs only seniors were singing. We exchange students got to be part of the seniors since we are going to graduate, even though some of us are listed as juniors.
These were our outfits for the Crazy For You medley. For the 1930's we just didn't add the fedoras. :D
These Glitter Girls outfits made me feel like I was in one of those church choirs where they clap their hands and dance around the church while they're singing :D
